Umm... But I thought that was what this forum was for? Helping and sharing to everyone. I didn't know that this was an exclusive thing...
I did share it. Via PM to you. When you post it in the thread it is shared via a bot to numerous other lists that are not affiliated with the forum. That's why most people only post surveys. Plus a forum has numerous uses that do not lower anyone's ability to catch a limited HIT - critiquing requesters, offering advice with scripts, recommending good ways to create number cushions, how to get quals, etc.
If it doesn't get shared here it will get shared on another forum and be picked up by a Hit Grabber. Probable, that it wasn't because it got shared on this page that it disappeared so fast
I dunno how you guys keep up with multiple forums and reddit and facebook and whatever else. This is the only one I'm on and it's still too much half the time haha
Good to know, but it wasn't shared on the only other forum I follow. I was just sharing my view on sharing things. Everyone can do things their own way. I PM'd the member who requested it with the panda, so no one can say I wasn't being helpful. I personally would not send a link to someone who never posts or contributes anything. And no one can control what other people do, but at least I did my part to not feed the bots.

I only post here, but I lurk at the other places from time to time. Usually if people here are talking in code about a hit or requester, I know that two other ones will flat out have the panda up 5 times LOL.
I feel you on the bots, I don't like sharing with lurkers here. If you put the link in spoilers I don't think that autobot can pick it up.
If we had the "hide content for non-registered members" option on this forum, I would use that and happily share a panda for a batch. But we don't have that option here. All we have are the spoiler tag and the NSFW tags. Neither of these limit content from being viewed by anyone who clicks the tag. I think that's why some members are willing to PM links assuming they know you. It's mutually beneficial doing it that way IMO. I've done that 2 times already today with two separate requesters and 2 separate forum members. Others are likely doing the same.
Sorry - I meant the "hide only for registered members" tag. I'll edit the post. One of the other forums lets you use a spoiler tag designed just to keep things off of bots. I use spoilers for large images, but that tag does not prevent non-registered members from viewing the content.

This part of the forum was members only at one time, not sure why Andy opened it back up for everyone.
