What hours do you work? I can understand this if you have a 9-5 (that doesn't allow for sneaking HITs while you're there) and are only on nights and weekends or something. Even then, though, it should be pretty damn easy to find stuff better than $1/hr.
Greetings from Amazon Mechanical Turk, This is the weekly summary of your Mechanical Turk earnings for the week ending Apr 23, 2016. Total amount earned this week: $289.62
No shit! I spent about 6 months gathering as many quals as I could and then took six months off when my FIL died. When I got back it was like starting all over with nothing but more than 10k.
Yeah, I'm only on at odd times. I defy you to point out anything on there today that will pay more than a couple of dollars an hour that will also not make your brain bleed after a short period of steady grinding. Forgot to mention that other criteria. I refuse to do anything that makes me feel homicidal levels of rage for sustained periods of time. *ETA* Dick Trickle... heh heh heh....
I think this was messed up. I got a code, then it sent me to another survey, then another, and then one that I needed a student ID for. I submitted it with the first code and it has 24 hr AA, so we'll see. Just warning anyone else. Also, it's a time waster even if you race through it. Giiiiiiiiiiiirllllllllll (or boiiiiiiiiiiiiii), you probably wanna get out of the turking game now if that's how you feel (LOL, I'm so over this it isn't even funny anymore - I *really* feel you there). It doesn't even get better. Wish I could say it does. Even the decent paying stuff is brain melting after a minute.
I just rated a dating profile for someone that could have passed for Scott Peterson's twin. I'm guessing his trustworthy score is never going to be where he wants it.
I wonder if he gets computer access on death row? If so, you know he's using it all on shit like okcupid.
Lol! I bet he would. But having worked the last 20 years on capital cases, I can assure you, the only computer access he would get would be favors from guards and that isn't easy to come by on death row.
Scott Peterson probably has half a dozen crazy murder-groupies putting money in his canteen account every month. Even without access to okcupid.
From what I have heard, he has far fewer than he used to when he was "Scotty Too Hotty." I don't know what the rules are there, but in some states, you can only spend a certain amount per month, no matter how much you have on the books. Most times, the really popular ones fade out and stop getting all that and most of the prison groupies don't have a whole lot to send, in my experience.

So mturk is slow enough for me to keep the scraper running while doing homework with limited distractions. On one hand, I like the minimal distractions. On the other hand, the $6.50 I've earned today is not enough
