I guess that settles it then, we have a winner on today's thread
Doesn't surprise, Kanye tweets about being 50 million in debt, proceeds to ask for a billion from zuck for him being the greatest of all time. "I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt... Please pray we overcome... This is my true heart... 6:46 PM - 13 Feb 2016" "Mark Zuckerberg invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas 9:49 AM - 14 Feb 2016" Once crazy, always crazy
Joe Dumars gave a lecture at the business school when I was in college, and the topic of Dennis Rodman invariably came up. He said that Rodman came into the NBA as a regular, humble kid from a small school who was just happy to get drafted. He couldn't deal the fame though, and he basically went batshit insane. Apparently, Dumars and the other Pistons players would bump into him years later and just straight up be like "Man, you're trippin'! What the fuck happened to you?" I'd imagine that it's the same way with Kanye. I imagine that when he bumps into Jay-Z, Common, or No I.D., they're like "Dude, you realize that you've done lost your damn mind, right?"
WUT ? How in the fuck is he 50 million in debt? He has so many revenue sources PLUS he's married into one of the richest families in reality television? He is NOT very bright at all if he is actually in debt that much, and he is even LESS bright for making it public.. smh Some people seem to crack under the pressure of fame more than others.
If anyone want's any say in today's thread speak now
That seems very likely, but it could really be any number of things. He's sometimes hostile enough that some other things would make sense, but you'd have to be a trained professional and kick it with him for a while before you could make a proper diagnosis.
I remember over ten years ago now, in the early 2000's when Kanye first got popular his music was actually sweet and he was just this underground nerd who was gaining popularity. It is really bizzare to think how much my perception of him has changed since then. Who knows, he may have an epiphiny and go back to actually making decent music. It sort of started going to shit at an inverse proportion to his ego.
Yeah, I remember before he released College Dropout. He was so humble, and he was incredibly skeptical that his album do well, because he'd had some success making beats for Jay-Z, but he was basically making underground backpacker rap, and including artists like Common and Talib Kweli, plus a few guys who nobody outside of Chicago had ever heard of. I don't know how we got here from there, but when I heard this song, I was pretty sure that we were hearing peak Kanye: Every fiber in my being told me that he was about to go downhill.
"They told my mama I was bipolar had ADD..." He's a narcissist too.
I was literally about to post that, but Ill post another of my faves: And for those waiting for him to get his money right, I guess we'll be waiting awhile longer.. a loooong while longer.
