I agree. A thousand dollars to a million people won't cure poverty, but the right person with the right idea could conceivably hire lobbyists who'd push the idea through congress and make things happen. So far, I don't think anybody has had the right idea. I am a fan of some of their philanthropic work, though.

Avoid Elaine Smid's $3 plus alleged bonus study. Annoying as fuck. Returned it. Here's my TO review: Returned this after spending over 20 minutes on it and only making it through 6 of the 51 trials you must complete. The potential "bonus" is 50 cents... on a 3 dollar HIT. So she wants us to spend around an hour or more for $3. Avoid. Unless she raises the pay to $6 base, it is not worth it. Also, it has one of the most annoying tasks I've ever had to attempt to complete for a study. Insulting.
