You know when something really simple dawns on you and you're like, why haven't I thought of that before? Yeah, well I was just thinking this morning how stupid captchas are and how I didn't know how long til my next one and so it's not good for pandas like the eyes that catch a bunch at once. Then it hit me - I can always just accept a bunch of hits like Brellig til I hit the captcha, clear it, return all the hits and then be ready for incoming panda batch. How have I not thought of that before?
There's a script that will tell you how many to go before you get to it. Might help? https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/907-captcha-counter
Here's the problem with this, as I've done this in the past with little success. The captcha's do not come at a set rate a lot of the time. Even though it's supposed to be every 35 hits, it really varies. I've gone a 100 hits with no captcha and then gotten one after 2 hits.
This has always blown my mind. My captchas are 32-34 hits like clockwork, going on almost three years now. I don't doubt people who say they've gotten them shortly after each other, but I wonder what could cause this that I've never seen it, especially since I do so many batches.

There's also a script for mturk 12-hour log in, letting you know when that's coming up 30 minutes ahead of time but atm it's not working for the past week. Maybe it broke along with TM during the Mturk update, who knows.
Mine are like clockwork like 99% of the time. Usually 35 for me I think. But every so often no. I don't think it's ever done just two but I have gotten ones after just like 10. And once I went for hundreds without one and thought I'd gotten masters.
I installed it and it's not appearing to be working in FireFox, which is what I use. If someone knows a way to get it to work in FF, or about another script that does work in FF, I'd be happy to install it.

lol. i know this all too well right now. my mother has a picc and she was supposed to get a delivery of flushes on friday but it never came and we only had 2 syringes for the weekend when she NEEDS four. Her line isn't going to get flushed today because of it. The hospital she is using for her condition is absolute shit at communicating info to us. They leave EVERYTHING to the very last minute. We need to make damn sure they phone over her prescriptions because I can TOTALLY see them fucking that up too and then she'll run out of her meds which is soooooo not cool.
Checking scripts, I see something for FF. Not sure if it's what you want. Alerts you on captcha and gives you the option of accepting a predetermined HIT for captcha completion. The default HIT is John Brelig - Extract purchased items from a shopping receipt. To change the HIT you must edit the GroupID variable. https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/7556-open-hit-on-captcha-firefox
