Actually, outsourcing is the one thing that Trump talks about that we really do need a national dialog about. I buy cheap Chinese crap at Walmart because it's what I could afford, but my salary is low in part because of cheap foreign labor. It's a vicious circle and I don't have a clue what the solution is. I only know we need to have family wage jobs in the US because you can't run an economy on nothing but selling crappy burgers to each other.

Meh, not really, most of our debt is within US government programs like Social Security and ObamaCare. What China spent on that wall crippled them for hundreds of years with the invasion of Genghis Khan. EDIT: Don't get me wrong though, I'm all for increasing security at our borders, I just don't see how Trump plans to do it. What he says is unrealistic. Now if he said WE have to pay for it, I get that but where's that money going to come from?
Artificially propping up wages through arbitrary, protectionist policies will only ensure poverty for all. You know what countries produce most of their own domestic goods? Very poor countries.
