The thing was, he asked for website addresses, but the last from the batch couldn't be found, and I submitted a comment for these that there was no website. He rejected those. This was his response to this: I can see about 70 HITs matching your worker ID. Of those I believe I have rejected 9 that did not supply a web address. I agree it is unfortunate if no website exists but I cannot pay for a negative result otherwise workers would submit more negative results that I would need to verify whether they were correct or not...which defeats the purpose of using the MT platform. I will be more explicit in future to state that no payment is made for null results. He offered me to do 200 HITs to offset the 9 rejections.
It is a ratio 1/2001 = .00049... or 0.049% That is the point your rejection rate is rounded back down to 0%.
The HITs can't be done "right" because I had to provide web addresses from companies, but these ones didn't have any.
What do you mean...he wants you to do 200 more hits for free so he's reverse the rejections...?? Wow that's really fishy. He should KNOW that there would be addresses that couldn't be found. What an ASS. I believe you didn't do them wrong at all, and now he's trying to bribe you. This is why I won't do the HITs where some answers are subjective anymore- it really sucks!
Thanks! I'll figure it out in the morning. Almost midnight and I need chopsticks to keep my eyes open

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels that way. It's kind of unfair, but maybe I should have just returned these ones. No, he is going to pay me for those 200 HITs, with his math that will offset the rejections So he is not going to reverse them)
So, you're being punished for something that wasn't your fault even though you did the work and could not find the results that didn't even exist? That's beyond effed up.
Oh that's shady. You are kind of between a rock and a hard place. You can contact him and risk a block technically. I would probably suggest it would be in good faith for him to reverse all rejections due to this and update his link instructions accordingly.
He should SAY in the HIT that if you can't find an address to return it. Then at least you know you will be wasting some of your time...but to pull this. Very lowball.
