I followed up on the Will Stoughton survey rejection I got yesterday for failing a qc question where the proper answer was not listed for me (worded different) when I took the survey. Even though I was able to name the exact qc question that I failed, which he went on to confirm, the rejection still won't be reversed because the proper answer was listed to the question in the survey when he checked. Maybe it was just a glitch or mistake on my part, but obviously I wasn't just skipping through when I know exactly which question I failed ahead of time.

These mobile phone surveys on crowdflower are usually ones that lead to endless "offers" and violate TOS so sometimes it looks like they have been taken down by crowdflower because of the violation, but the hit stays up. I've never seen a CF survey over 75 cents that wasn't spammy in some way---not saying that they don't exist, but these are usually not legit.

Just a Reminder Everyone... It is NOT okay to discuss anything about ANY survey or study other than basically that it is available, how long it took, whether it was worth doing, what the TO is, whether you got paid / rejected, etc. Any content of ANY study or survey, even the most mundane detail, is simply not allowed. We hate to be hard on the issue but most of these are being done by graduate students with very limited budgets coming to us as Turkers to get unbiased data. Any discussion of ANY detail of the survey or study runs the risk of corrupting that data. The community can not and will not be a part of that process that has the potential of requiring these excellent jobs from being posted for us. This is not directed at any particular person or post - just a reminder... I hope you understand. Thanks!
