The email I got says they are "building a team of testers for the fall release of YouEye 2.0". I'm guessing they using mturk to recruit people for when they launch their new thing.
I only got $6-$7 today from an hours worth. Off day for me, too. We can do it tomorrow I signed up, might as well. Same. Edit: Anyone else get in for that $40 bonus Skype study? Any word on how that works? The requesters haven't answered my e-mail.

No on the transcriptions. I do some but not much at all. I don't care much for those. I have a few requesters who send me things to do as well. I also have a requester who I usually make at least 10 a day pretty much every day. I'm way past 1k... I'm around 14k. I don't worry anymore about how many I have I'm more into high dollar hits. I usually have at least 4 pages of hits but all my pages are pretty much high amounts... I don't like penny hits or such. Those are good for trying to get numbers up... but for me they don't make enough money for me to focus too much time on. I'm always refreshing the hits page (set to newest hits) for new high dollar hits. I will do any of them... even ones with no TO. I have only 14 rejects out of all my hits I've done... so it's not too bad to take chances, especially if the pay is worth the risk. I guess I do so well because I do take the risks. If you don't have a lot of hits though I don't advise taking the risks that I take. The smaller your number of hits the bigger impact on your percentages. Oh and I don't do bad TOs... I just read my post and it sounds like I do any and all but I won't do requesters with bad TOs... but I will do requesters who have no TOs and it serves me well. And I can't leave because I just got an email to do some more work.

Sucky night for me, on $4.45 projected. I have over 20 $ of unpaid hits, wish they would process lol. NN yall!
Damn it I just spent 25 minutes slogging through this (while getting constantly distracted, to be fair) and there was no code at the end. Oh well, usually requesters are good about responding to this particular issue since it seems to crop up often
REPOST - But Important! Hey Everyone! I'm taking submissions for the "Resources" part of our forum. Please submit anything you think might be useful as a reference for us or helpful as somewhere to send new users for help. Cowfin has provided the first article - I've posted it and you can all see it there. Now's your chance to get published, LOL! But seriously, I could use your help to post some library articles. You'll get full credit of course! And we can all look over the articles there and make changes and updates as needed. Any and all suggestions are appreciated... This is our library - So let's stock it with stuff we want there! Are you good at transcribing and can provide some good tips pertaining to that? What about search techniques for good HITs? Or maybe you know how best to track your mTurk progress? Anything you can think of... Let me know. I would write the articles myself but I am way too lazy for that and not nearly intelligent enough! And I think there are much better writers than I on this forum. So let's stock our library.
I can't stand it when that happens! You feel like you may have just done work for free! Most of the time they are fair about it though.
G'Nite Y'all I gots to get some sleep! I'll play with y'all tomorrow... Play nice and "Go Make That Money!!!" C-Ya Tomorrow!
Yeah do that and also send them a message after you submit it explaining the situation. I don't think I've ever had anyone end up rejecting me over a missing code issue so yeah they're generally fair as Libby said. Good night Rob!
