Articles for the mTurk Library Hey Everyone! I'm taking submissions for the "Resources" part of our forum. Please submit anything you think might be useful as a reference for us or helpful as somewhere to send new users for help. Cowfin has provided the first article - I've posted it and you can all see it there. Now's your chance to get published, LOL! But seriously, I could use your help to post some library articles. You'll get full credit of course! And we can all look over the articles there and make changes and updates as needed. Any and all suggestions are appreciated... This is our library - So let's stock it with stuff we want there! Are you good at transcribing and can provide some good tips pertaining to that? What about search techniques for good HITs? Or maybe you know how best to track your mTurk progress? Anything you can think of... Let me know. I would write the articles myself but I am way too lazy for that and not nearly intelligent enough! And I think there are much better writers than I on this forum. So let's stock our library.

I'm not an expert by any means, but I think that one of the topics should be a how-to for requesters who are coming onto the forum. Anytime we can engage the person asking for the job, everybody's better off. I think we should make it as easy as possible for requesters to communicate with us, and a nice article should help that.
No no, it is 100% literal, I'm sure you've seen the ugly little bastards around... they're so noisy, and apparently if you smash one it smells bad AND attracts more of them >< they don't bite or anything, they just freak me out
I think that is an excellent idea... And maybe also include the link to the "How to reverse a reject" info that was on here a few days ago... Can you volunteer to put something together... Maybe titled, "Info For Requesters" or some such?

Hey, I wanted to add something to the resources page, but it says i do not have sufficient permissions to do that. How do I submit something to that section?
You can post it here for all of us to review and discuss - or you can PM or email it to me and you and I can look it over. Once there is general agreement - then I will post it there. Remember this is the mTurk Forum Library "Resources" - so it's not open for just general posting. We want this to be a one stop shop for Amazon mTurk support information for all of us. Not a discussion group.

Absolutely, and please do not feel like I was planning to make it like that. I am sort of proficient at Google Searching. Not just typing words in and getting a million hits, but typing in the right things to get the answers to exactly what you are looking for. I think this can help some of the members not only in everyday life, but in their turking life as well.

I just reached 100 approved. Thanks to you guys I've been doing pretty good. My first day I made 1.98 then I found this forum and the second day I made 18.76 third day 10.03 and today 4.95 with 17.37 projected earnings. I want to thank you guys for all your help.
