Are you planning on putting up any Korean restaurant batches again? I really enjoyed those. I have the qual for your current batches, but was just curious if you plan to revisit Korea.

Is there a possibility of a 0 qual batch coming out anytime soon?

 

Greetings TOTW, I would love some guidance on how you would like listings with +4 ZIP code data to be handled. In this latest batch I have already seen several listings with xxxxx-xxxx, but the official site and/or search info only lists the 5-digit ZIP. My inclination is to remove the +4 on such listings because a) the restaurateur/chain are themselves listing an official address with only a standard ZIP and b) we are not at the point yet where a +4 is required to contact people, better to go with the known-good data. Obviously if a known-good source lists a detailed ZIP I would verify/include it.

Advice?

 

If a zip+4 is included in the original listing and you can only verify the first 5 digits, there's no need to remove the last four.

 

if a location has moved do you want us to put the new location or just mark it as closed /not enough info?

 

Could you say when another 0 qual batch will be posted for the TOTW hits? ThANKS

 

All that hard work... just to hear that ToTW may not be issuing new quals?! Ouch. Guess I'll be checking this thread, daily, to see if there has been any change.

 

Just a heads up, Facebook has been down for a bit this afternoon.

 

Please send your worker Id via Pm by clicking on Requestor name . I have also sent my Id but have not got the qualification. I can see 15000 hits were released for qual 50 today .

 

I meet few similar situations in AUSTRALIAN Batch where on official site they mentioned Inner suburbans in place of CITY and where as on hit there is main city name like example : "Woolloomooloo" New South Wales 2011 on Official site and on hit "SYDNEY" so do i need to edit the city or i can keep it as same?

 

Because we have very high standards for quality and our hits can require several steps, we haven't been letting in a lot of new workers. Keep in mind it takes a while for us to analyze and approve new workers. We will probably run another new qualification batch (for those with score 0) in the next few weeks.

 

Use your judgment here. If the city listed on the site is actually part of the larger city (as it seems in this case) you can keep the larger city in the hit. If it's outside of the city in the hit, then change it. Does that help?

One thing I'd highly recommend, after doing the last 0 batch, is for you guys to incorporate a lot of the little details about the HITs that are discussed in depth in this thread into the FAQ/instructions. When I did them last time, I felt like a lot of little details were missing, and it was only in passing after the batch was done that I picked up things that I had been doing incorrectly from people chattering about the HITs on the daily Greatest HITs thread. This thread is a great resource, but at the same time, I'd rather not have to come search a thread if I had a question about the instructions in a HIT while I'm working on it.

There are things that are extremely obvious to the people who've already been working on these HITs since the start that just don't make as much sense to people approaching the HITs from a completely fresh perspective. I wanted to kick myself when I realized what I'd been doing wrong.

TOTW, in regards to when you do open up a new qualification batch...what's your typical "prerequisites" for # of approved hits?
