Can't find good HITs? 10/2

Agent Agent has one of his 1-question surveys up, but it says "New workers only please" - he just means people who haven't done the CURRENT one yet, right? I did some previous one about Halloween icons..

I'm conflicted about that. I've done several of his HITs with no issue, but none of them had specified "new workers only."

I have a question. I know you're supposed to have ten days of confirmed turking before you get money. But I only have 4 and have some available to be withdrawn. I turked for three day then got shut down for a little over 10 days while they verified tax info(I messed up while entering it the first time so i had to wait longer). Is there a reason why this money is already available?

 

No idea... And this is something you should discuss directly with Amazon....

 

I'm trying to figure out some of that myself- I have a mixture of "Approved, Pending Payment" and "Paid." I started a week ago Sunday, so the initial 10 days isn't over yet..

Your 10 days would have been up today... Congrats!

Sunday - Saturday = 7 days.. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday = 10 days!!! YAY!!!

 

Amazon probably counted the days you were shut down as part of the ten days... that's the only thing that makes sense. Also are you sure you have money available for pay out? Just because it says paid doesn't mean you can withdraw it into an account just yet.

I was on amazon today and i went to check out with an item in my cart to see the price of shipping and I had the option to pay with my amazon payments account.(I just made it when I registered for mturk.) It had a balance of $25 and some change then later it went up to $26.08 available.

Ah gotcha! So I'd say they've counted the days you couldn't turk as part of your ten days.
