Did anyone else do the Work Skills qual? I've been going back and forth with the requester about the fact that no one seemed to score above a 2, and why he received so many negative posts on TO. "One can build discreet profiles of respondents based on the Prescreen information. One can fall into one of 5 profiles. One profile does not get approved for any HITs, most respondents fell into profile 2. This surprised me. There are three profiles that still have active an active HIT and not many of the Presceen respondents fall into those profiles. Hopefully, they will fill up, in part, to the the positive reviews I am getting over the last 24 hours." He's also blaming the workers who were rejected saying that it wasn't a mistake on the survey, it was the making mistakes because they weren't paying attention. He's also trying to get me to post to TO for him. Ha. "I would like to post the guidance on my remaining HITs on Turkopticon so people can learn more about them and make an informed decision on whether to take the HIT or pass on the HIT. Unfortunately, Turkopticon has so far not given me permission to comment on a post. Apparently, commenting on a post, is how Turkopticon permits requesters to provide information. In my guidance, I am trying to discourage workers who are willing or unable to follow the instructions from participating in my HITs. For example, some of people have problems paying attention over a period of one hour and 15 minutes. They should not attempt the HIT." Oh. He also sent me a word document to post to TO. Ummmm. Not going to happen.
