We're not employees but independent contractors, self-employed. See if you can dig up that report. If we become employees then they will also take out income tax, state unemployment insurance, Social Security tax....and ...and...
I did asurvey for an outside company today, and they usually just ask your zip code. This one wanted my address, and when I refused, it was OK. Until the end, when they DQ'ed me.
I'm not really working. I totaled my car 3 weeks ago, without collision insurance because it was 21 years old. Now I'm agonizing through used cars on Craigslist. Without money. It's worse than working here.
But if you were an employee then your employer would be paying half of the Social security/medicare tax. As it stands now, you pay ALL of it along with your income tax. Assuming you are indeed filing properly and not violating any terms of service.
Thanks. I have a few well-to-do friends who will help me out. Again. Ironically, it was the only reliable car I've ever owned, a 1995 Toyota Camry station wagon. They were replaced with minivans in 1997, but they're so good that I still see them on the road. The job of unloading all my tools and building supplies will be monumental. But now I don't have to finish the wax job that I started 2 months ago.
Did anyone see Fantastic Beasts and where to find them? Is it a good movie? (yes I am a fan of the harry potter books/movies)
Got another Dermot Lynott earlier. Got caught up in solar panels and swimming pools and couldn't post this PandA sooner. https://www.mturk.com/mturk/previewandaccept?groupId=3IE95L92SPIO58PIY9O66UDJ1GK7M0 This is from this afternoon. I've never got that morning one, which is a re-post. I think Flora posted it: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/previewandaccept?groupId=3U58B6YJ5WLYN4F1KFVCX9YEET08NR
