But I thought the requested is asking for Roast to resubmit it. There's no way to know the participant is submitting the same survey or not. Also if the participant does the entire HIT again they would be frustrated and that mindset could skew the results. Hence why I say they should just pay it if the first submission was made in good faith.
I sent her an email telling her she's being fucking ridiculous, and she's pushing right back saying that she agrees, but it's Mturk's fault for losing her data. She's affiliated with Kutztown, so I guess it's time to find her superior and complain.
I think the requester is only asking for the auto-biography again, and she is assuming he still has it as it was written. You're right that in this case re-writing it would definitely skew the data. I don't think she wants him to re-do the survey portion.

Mine is still pending approval. Fortunately wordcounter.net saved my stuff. I would be pissed if I was told to do it again.
Hi guise ... quick question, did amazon change layout of no hits available page ... if so - how do you PANDA now ??
Holy shit, thank you, it had mine too. I still sent a long note along with my copy telling her she'll be inundated with review board complaints if she doesn't change her tune.
I ran the update on Turkmaster and I'm still missing the watcher button. Anyone else? Do I need to remove and reinstall TM instead of just updating? Seems odd that the update wouldn't just fix it.
The average length of surveys + the amount of time taken to deal with the inevitable problems that occur in like 5-10% of them + the time taken for the occasional survey that ends up being way too long but you're in too deep to turn back = worst hourly on mturk.
I still haven't encountered any TM issues or need to update. Either that means I already have way too many pandas in TM or I just stick to working on the same stuff over and over these days.
You would only run into the recent issue with TM is if you try to add a watcher after there are no more available hits. If you start a panda mid batch you won't get any errors.
Not even 30 seconds after sending a fairly terse reply: thank you for the assistance. The other 6 batches were fine. I have approved all HITs. If you have not saved your story, you do not have to retype. --Angela
Yeah, that's how I usually work it. I make my pandas near the middle when numbers start dwindling. Very rarely do I panda anything at the end. Never even noticed the new text until Flora pointed it out to me.
Yeah, my problem is when I click a hit (like the $10 survey) and it's gone, I can't make a panda out of it. Guess I'll have to uninstall and start over.
