THIS!!! OMG, I turned off all my pandas and scraper, and I still keep getting this. It's been driving me crazy.
If you only have a few hours to work, I would probably recommend finding a batch that's up often enough that might not be great pay but is mindless and can get you a bit of money and numbers in between anything else that scraper picks up like surveys. Some people do Copytext, Crowdsurf, Amazon A9, though I'm not sure what the requirements are for those. I'm in the 'watch scraper and only work when something good is up' school, which isn't as much of a gamble if you have all day to sit by the computer, but if you don't, waiting those few hours you do have for something actually good could be fruitless far more often than it isn't, especially if you actually need the money and it isn't just something extra to have.

To be honest, considering how time-intensive turking can be, if someone's got a very limited time to work, I'd suggest going an entirely different route. What that might be, I can't say because it'll highly depend on an individual's skill set, but something like writing, doing quick gigs on Fiverr, selling products (using your time to answer emails, pack/ship, post to social media, etc.), blogging, or even getting a PT telecommuting gig (social media/blog management seems to be all the rage these days) might pay off in a more consistent way.
