You could greatly reduce the amount of unknowns. There are some companies that always use the same format on charges and are always restaurants (Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Chili's, Buffalo Wild Wings), or always takeout (Papa John's, Dominos, Papa Murphy's). There are other keywords that can identify or segregate groups of similar data into broader categories that can be sorted more quickly. Leave me alone for a few hours with a database like that and I could at least halve the amount of work just manually running SQL queries. Yeah I haven't been looking for seating in bakeries, juice places, yogurt, ice cream, coffee, etc. Only 'real' restaurants.
That doesn't mean they can win 8 straight. A great team can win in any single season. But fatigue is a real thing. You guys are the one making the outrageous claim, with no evidence backing it up whatsoever. Bringing up Gretzky is a strawman, cause I said nothing of the sort. Your argument is awful. I'm probably going to stop here, cause it's becoming drama. Edit: Getting more pathetic by the minute....Attack the argument, not the person. Holy crap, do you guys know how to make arguments? You keep putting words in my mouth.
The Celtics are also a great franchise with a storied tradition. I'm not sure why we should start bickering over which team was better.
To clarify, Roast and I were doing these when his drilldowns were much more anal than they are now. He only recently added in bakeries and yogurt places and ice cream shops to the first category. He also had restaurants separate from bars. Now that it's all grouped, I'm thinking he's gotten over his actual sit-down restaurant vs. not quite thing. It should only really matter when you're dealing with places that are literally just takeout and not on the merchant list.
If he wants to claim less teams and less talent per team well sadly every team essentially was "stacked" with the best of the best being played.
This is really going to be my last reply. Spending time away from the game lets him recover. Winning 5 straight doesn't. I don't think the two of you do, but if you care for an objective POV, try making your "argument" on a non-Bulls biased basketball forum.
Wow this is the most ridiculous argument of all time!! Except perhaps the new one that will be all post season: Who was better Bulls or Warriors. Also there is no question, Bulls would have won at the very least 5 in a row because those Rocket's teams were decent at best. Whether they would have went on and won 8 is debatable because Im not sure that Rodman joins the team had they won 5 in a row and he was the key to those 3 championships.
I've only seen two truly unblockable shots: Kareem's skyhook, and Jordan's fadeaway. Jordan was also a beast on the boards and played nasty defense. I think anybody who watched him would agree that he's probably the GOAT.
