MSNBC says this was like the second longest speech ever. I thought it felt uncomfortably long. I don't think it was supposed to be. Instead of just reading the prompter, he kept stopping for 30 seconds to read a whole paragraph and then he'd recite it. It was odd. But as a Trump hater, anything short of rainbows popping out of his ass wouldn't be good enough for me.
What most people fail to recognize is that Reagan's actual economic policies directly contradicted his economic rhetoric. The rhetoric was lifted directly from the writings of Mises and Hayek. He was basically Ron Paul with a bit of Hollywood charisma. In reality, though, the Reagan-era policies increased both spending and the size and scope of the executive branch. Not to mention the failure to shut down the Department of Energy and Department of Education (a campaign promise). It got to the point that Hayek called up the White House to ask why Reagan was repping his theories and simultaneously doing the exact opposite. The answer, which seemed understandable at the time, was that Reagan realized he had to bring the country to the brink of bankruptcy before Congress would let him start shutting shit down. Of course, 30-something years later we realize that this is a horrible strategy, because we've seen it happen to the USSR, Zimbabwe, Argentina, Greece, Iceland, etc. Of course, in Reagan's defense, the man might have been a senile figure-head for a good chunk of his presidency.

these? they have a variety up right now. not sure why they don't just create a qualification like they have for Adult. they say it's optional. one of the problems is what happens when your status changes. you may lock yourself out when you can't edit your options. Prolific lets you edit your status details but I assume they wouldn't like you to for example. get younger or less education just to try to qualify for more surveys. I wouldn't be worried about locking yourself out or thinking about scamming to qualify for more or less stuff. I'd be worried about (given Amazon's handling of the platform, or lack of) somehow getting suspended if you entered something that they attached to your account and then having it not match on a survey way down the line. Like if you put down you have an Android now, 3 months from now you take some random survey and Amazon flags you not having an iPhone. I don't trust the entirely uncommunicative, mysterious in handling of stuff, nearly impossible to reach or get an answer from or clarification on anything platform to not ban someone for something stupid like that.

This, absolutely this. Honestly I would much prefer if Amazon had a profile that I could fill out that kept up with my stats and things such as this. It would be great to just accept a hit and know you were qualified and not have to waste time. The problem is Amazon sucks, they are untrustworthy and they really dont give a shit about AMT. In all probability its a loser for them, sure they take fees, but the hosting for this stuff has to be crazy. If they break even I would really be surprised and there is no way they broke even before the price increase. Amazon relies on high volume to make money not pricing.
