Took me 25 minutes but I had to stop and make a bottle and get my daughter calmed down, so that took a few minutes. Worst part is I couldn't get the code to copy and paste so I had to manually type it. first world problems. Worth the time.

Speaking of not having Internet access, would it be risky to use a second Internet connection? Would having a different IP address raise red flags with Amazon Mechanical Turk?

I would think not considering you have one ID.

 

That would be ridiculous, some people have dynamic IPs. It will only affect you if you are vacationing in another country and need to take a HIT that requires IP verification, I think.

 

I don't think so.I know someone who was in Europe turking there for a year and nothing bad happend

 

So these math HITs are popular.I can't accept anything.

 

Let's assume both have a static IP address. What would Amazon Mechanical Turk think to see someone switching back and forth between two IP addresses within a short period of time?

 

Nothing as far as I know. I've done HITs at my house and at a relative's house in the same day...many times.

Also many people turk at home as well as at work...or even through tablets or phones

 

Honestly if you've been verified I'd be surprised if they looked at that stuff at all.

 

I don't see why you would have any problems. I've turked from my parents house for days at a time, I've turked from the school wifi, from my old apartment wifi, from the public library, from hotels, I'm sure you wouldn't have a problem.

 

x2, I've turked from about everywhere you can think of, whether it be on the toilet or on the road.
