Morning Last week of school and I'm holding no expectations for making goal. Have an 8th grade graduation, a Girl Scout bridging ceremony (which is funny to me since she is quitting GS this year), auditions for a summer musical and my ABS light came on yesterday so need to get that in today. I'm sure I missed a few school functions in there. They jam *everything* into the last week or two. I missed a mother/daughter 5th grade event Friday night because apparently we signed up a few months ago, never heard *anything* else about it so we both forgot. I find out after my friend texted me to say that she was there and we were supposed to be in her group. Oops. LOL I really suck at this working mom thing.
I hear ya! I'm also a stay-at-home working Dad to a 5th grader, so I can sympathize with all the 5th grade functions. She has a sports day tomorrow, and the weather forecast is calling for storms, so that should be fun! But you also have a bunch of other stuff on your plate - I don't know how you fit it all in!

Me too. They make it a lot harder to accept being imperfect because there are so many SAHMs at school that are all so perfect. My kids didn't get to go to the carnival because I had to work. Then my ten year old begged to go on the school bike ride. The school is 11 miles away and I have a prius that doesn't fit three kids and three bikes and I have to work. My son cried, "but I didn't get to go to the carnival." Breaks your heart. My kids are sad to miss the carnival but you know what would really make them sad? Not having a home so I need to go to work and they are great kids and got over it. We're going to have a fun weekend picking berries and going to the movies. Hang in there, Faith. We are all doing the best we can and you are a great mom.
Okay - so I'm finally getting around to trying out hit scraper. I get that the different colors are the TO ratings, but how come some are gray? I thought that was for no TO at all, but some of them do have ratings listed but are still gray?
