Apparently that was a false ding. It happens sometimes. It just means that something is going off too often. Try increasing the timers.
Off topic, but how long do you all think is too long for a car to be in the shop? Mine's been in for almost two weeks now. I needed a coolant flush, brake fluid flush, and inspection. I also wanted them to try and see why it's cranking a little longer than usual and why it's idling rough. I don't think any of that is major, and I probably would have done it myself if it didn't need inspection, so I figured just to let them handle it. This is torture, I can't remember any time when it's taken this long for a vehicle to get done. I hate being cooped up like this.
Reply i just gave to a question in a survey I'm working on: "When a girl with a nice round butt wiggles her rear around in a bubbly motion. If she then proceeds to bend over, making her booty into an onion shape, that is usually great, and does it for me." True story.
Your vehicle has been in the shop too long. As far as I am concerned, unless that shop is extremely busy or a part is on back order, then the turn around should be a day or two. This does not include body work from an accident because that can take longer.
Two weeks? My 99 Volkswagen has been in the shop for a month, and that's how long it took just for the required part to be located! Sounds like they're just slacking in your case though.

What is the deal with these surveys requiring you to get your co-workers to complete surveys...geesh.
If I brought my car in for all those things, I would expect at least a call same or next day. They are probably just sitting on it - call them up and get them off their asses.
So today sucks. Ended up staying home from work today since it hasn't gotten any better. Lots of "when do you call it quits" thoughts in my head
I never am without my car for more than a day. They have me bring it in the day they are going to work on it and maybe I have it overnight, but that's it. And I always get a loaner car. Two weeks... I couldn't function without a car that long.
I regret posting the Orange is the New Black survey. It really did take the predicted 20-30 minutes. Left a note for the requester.
