Yeah, I stared at that one for a while and realized why I dropped out of college. Not my thing.

The only thing I look for on TO anymore are the words: reject, block and broken. Otherwise it's become untrustworthy. After my last review vanished--it was clean and fair and to the point--I no longer post. There's no point . Reviews hidden, deleted...that's another means of censorship. Just a modest reading of the forums shows repeated complaints about this. TO was started for the protection of workers, since Amazon is only concerned with their customers, the requesters, not their workers. Now TO has started increasingly protecting requesters. That's a short slide down a high cliff.

I basically just focused on my one suggestion that would make TO useful to me again: Force reviewers to type in the reward and the time taken (like actual fields for it), and let the site calculate the wage and automatically rate pay based on that, say a 0-10 scale with 5 fixed at current federal minimum wage. If they don't fill it in, they don't get to put in a rating for pay.

This should work for everyone. Sure, Indian workers have different standards, but that's fine; they can look for ratings of 2 and up if they want. The people that just want to lazily write "Great requester! Paid fast!" can still do so, but they don't get the privilege of rating pay. And for the people that want to split hairs and say "minimum wage should be like a 1, not a 5, sheeple", whatever, shut up. The rating scale will be wide enough now to show granularity on both sides.

I'm not really concerned with what a reviewer says. You read enough reviews for a certain requester/HIT, you can draw a conclusion according to your own specifications. That's actually what crowd sourcing is about. My worry is a perceived progression towards focusing protection on requesters....and restricting the public's view of what is said by reviewers. You then get into the question of "who gets to censor and who gets censored". ALL information(however unpleasant, however stupid) is needed to reach a conclusion, not just a chosen selection. That makes TO not a review system, but rather a private blog.

Apparently the kids have discovered my middle school jam and they look so stupid doing this dance.

I had to figure out why this song was so popular again. According to my niece, everybody is singing it at her school.
