Personally I am not a fan of this because it really hampers your max earning. I mean you're cut off at 38.00 a day from those and penny hits are rarely worth the money being hard to earn any more then minimum wage. I can see doing it as an early part of your turking just to get numbers up like you said but personally I just wouldn't do it. Though I also have the numbers now to where I feel really comfortable that I have a good buffer so obviously your mileage may vary.
For those of you who done the Crowfin $25, how long did it take for you to get yours approved and paid?
$/hr is 0 if you are doing nothing online. Better to stay busy as it increases your overall earnings for the day. I don't know about you but I don't see a bunch of good batches that pay $20/hr always up... Sometimes ya gotta sacrifice to get that cash. Just my opinion, if I waited around for hits paying what I make at my other job then I would never be able to turk. But, the more money per hour the better. I just don't think it's realistic to be that choosy with mturk unfortunately. Easy come, easy go we are all replaceable.
Generally it is stuff with longish timers. So you do it between other batches. Sort of a "better to be doing something than nothing" thinking.
Yeah I mean I get that and I get some per hour is better then nothing per hour I just abhor the idea of maxing out at 38 dollars in a day so avoid penny hits. Also I'd prefer to have some slots open in case a really good batch popped up. I mean if you are maxing out on a hit that was already decent paying and good hourly that's awesome but I'd hate to miss out on a batch of like the 4 dollar Sergey's because I maxed out on penny hits. So yeah I would at the least leave a chunk of hits open in case something good popped. Maybe do 3k and then turn off the PandA and save 800 for a just in case situation.
I'm sure they do stuff like that. I haven't asked too in depth, it feels like stealing trade secrets.
Not true. You need breaks to prevent burn outs. I mean don't wait for only amazing batches/hits but also don't feel you have to always be doing something. You need to find a balance between making money and conserving mental energy for when a really good batch does come up imo.
Of course, I agree. I just have limited hours in a day to turk on most days so I have to maximize my potential here. On a weekend, I mess around online half of the time. If you only have 6 hrs to turk, can't always be selective. Have to take what you can get if you want to make money.
Hi. I hung out with a friend I've known since we were 13 years old, then I went to my dad's place to have a Christmas party with his girlfriend's family, and now I'm back at my sister's house, just me, the dog, and two cats. I probably missed all the money in the world but I think I had a pretty good day despite that.

Hey guys! Hope you all had an awesome turking day. I did some exploring of my new living place. Was great!
