Take the qual!! Really! No TCP/IP here, all HTTP weblog stuff which is very easy if you're nerdy enough. If you pass the qualification (which only requires an 85/100), do it. Worth peeking inside and seeing if you understand it at least. A basic understanding of HTTP, some analytical thinking, and some strong googlefu (don't want to talk too much about what's in the HIT) are what got me through this.
haha i haven't touched that kind of stuff yet...going through the motions on entry-level learning for a few CISCO quals and trying to get a position at a dell-subcontractor that works on the microsoft campus with a few friends. I'll have to regrettably pass...as I haven't hit that stuff enough to know anything about it yet.:/
