Hello, I am trying to inquire about receiving the qualification for Top Tier writing for CrowdSource. I have requested it seven days ago and am curious to how long it takes to receive the qualification. As to my knowledge there is no test to receive the qualification. I would like to know if there is a test to complete to obtain this qualification or if I have to wait longer to receive the qualification. I look forward to completing CrowdSource's HITS and am very much dedicated to putting in 40+ hours a week to working for CrowdSource as a writer.
Hello, there is a test you have to take to become a Top Tier Writer. They are not accepting new writers at this time. When they are testing, they will post the test as a HIT on MTurk. The HIT will be entitled "Qualification Test: Top Tier Writing"
Thank you for your reply, and how often do they test? Are there any particular times in the day I should look out for in search of the test?
It's relatively infrequently, once every couple of months or something. When it's up, all of the test hits aren't snatched up quickly, so don't worry about missing it. They usually put up a few hundred tests and they stay up for a few days.
If you go to write.com, there's a place to sign up to be notified of when the test will be available.
Does anyone know about the new Beta test? I recently (without my knowledge) had all of my writing privileges revoked. Now I see that only Beta-approved writers have access to the HIT's I used to be able to perform.
Did you just come back to CS, or did you previously have the Beta qualification? If you just came back, they made all writing HITs beta maybe a month ago. I believe you can retest for a higher qualification on write.com (at least that's what I heard). If you did have the Beta and lost it, maybe you had too much feedback (negative)? I have read that you can take their interest survey to see if you match up with what they're wanting now, but I also read that several people haven't had luck with that. I would say your best bet is to email CS directly.
I guess I am up the creek until they decide to offer the Beta test again. I didn't lose my Top Tier, but they are not offering any writing work to regular Top Tier writers anymore. You have to pass the new test, which they are not offering at the moment.
Still looks like they're not offering the test. Sad days ahead, it seems. I rarely ever see work available now that involves the editing or writing qualifications.
I take it they also removed the Writer I qualification. I had lost it with my other writing qualifications.
