How many of you are comfortable doing speechink verbatim hits. For me they are a real pain in the ass but still I like them for the good pay. I'm normally making around $25 per day doing their verbatim hits but I want some tips on how to do their hits more efficiently so that I can earn much more. Tell me what do you think about them?
I don't like them. I'd do the hell out of the home inspection ones if they didn't go so fast, I wish they'd put them up in batches. I actually took one of their other qual tests yesterday and passed but.. meh. I've only done one 'non-home inspection' HIT since getting the qual and I'm not really comfortable with them. I really do need to earn the extra money they offer but I'm just not confident enough to do them yet.
I do some of the verbatim transcriptions. They are a pain! I'm very picky in which HITs I accept and I will return them immediately if the audio is the least bit hard to understand for any reason. I think for the verbatims slowing the audio down doesn't really help as that blends the words together. I listen at normal speed and then play it back again to try to make sure that I've gotten everything down. I've never done those home inspection HITs, though I am qualified for them.
I do them when I have to, because I'm a bit slow at them. But when I do do them, I use my Dragon software to speed it up a bit.
