It said it keeps bookmarks, preferences, history, etc., but the only thing it deletes is extensions and addons. I did it and that is the only thing I lost were my extensions and my addons. (It also saves a file on your desktop with the old profile in case you need to copy anything from there) I added them all back but now I cannot access Hitscraper. I have tried all 4 links and even double checked that the other Hitscraper with export minus legacy wasn't back on Greasyfork. Everything else is working perfectly.
I've had both enhancers, and always show all details from the old mturk? It's the one I see on greasyfork...and nothing.
I tossed a lot of new scripts in when I started the new site, not sure which does what. AMT has removed the titles. If there's a script for it, it will be in GreasyFork, otherwise not. The most savvy folks here (not writers) are Tscreener and BlazinDimes.
I found Kadauchi's MTS wiki on GitHub from a link in MTS. I registered and asked a question and got back a reply much faster than if I had posted in MTCrowd. Have to see if any other rwriters hang out there.
This is what I get when going to https://worker.mturk.com/hitscraper Sorry, we couldn’t find that page Strange... the page you were looking for is not here. Let’s go home and try again. Go Home
which browser version and what script runner? in the latest firefox 57+ you may have to run tampermonkey or violentmonkey some scripts don't work well with greasemonkey if you're using their latest. if it's a new problem you may have gotten updated browser or extension though I think more would be reporting problems look in the script at the @include and @match line for the url to use read back in this thread, hit scraper with export hasn't been updated in 2018 a few people have posted temporary fixes you can use till it's fixed https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/3...x-uninstall-after-feih-fixes-original-version
My Firefox is 58.0.1 I don't know what script runner is. Where do I find that? I have both Tampermonkey and Greasemonkey but noticed that when I resinstalled all my extensions and addons that all the scripts are listed under Tampermonkey and none under Greasemonkey. Before I had 3 that were listed under Greasemonkey. Hitscraper was working fine until I had to reinstall the extensions a couple days ago. I did notice after the new site took effect and the new worker.../hitscraper url had to be used that for half a second when I would go to it that Sorry screen would flash before loading the Hitscraper screen. This is what I see: // @match https://www.mturk.com/mturk/findhits?*hit_scraper Is the @include up there with it? If so, there isn't one. Not finding it with CTRL F.
It's working for me on TamperMonkey in FF 52.6ESR in Win7. I like to run something in FF for batches while I run Chrome MTS for non-batches.
HS still has an old bug, but I can live with it. If I ask for batches with a 10-hit minimum, it still shows me ones with 1 hit.
remove all your hit scrapers, disable greasemonkey in extensions restart install the fixed hit scraper I posted a few messages back profit
Who uses Task Archive? I just installed it because it has a Hit Db similar to what we had under the dashboard before. But I don't know how to call it up. I've already gone through the features and turned off those I don't need.
It worked. Thank you! Do I not need to enable Greasemonkey then? None of the scripts are listed under it now. The 3 that used to be are now listed in Tampermonkey.
