Hi all. This is a repost. I couldn't find my other thread so I am posting this one here since there is a place for this type of thing now. Anyhow I am currently building a website that is a mturk guide. Got a good start on it but I have a ways to go yet with adding content. What I am looking for is someone who transcribes and can confidently write a 'how to' with strategies, for transcribing on mturk, off the top of their head without researching. I am not looking for cut and paste content. Will also provide credit to the author on the page. You do not need to know any coding. I will take the article and get it on the site. I don't want to break rules so I won't post the website here(unless Andy says it is OK). I have no idea what to pay but if you are interested let me know. We will work out the details. Thanks everyone for making this forum a great community!

    HEHE thanks Andy.

    www.Mturk-Guide.com

Trying to make a actual guide site that covers most topics far as workers are concerned.
I am looking for something in the ways of how I wrote the 'your first ten days' section. I wrote it casual and off the top of my head without referencing anything. Just do not feel experienced enough to do the transcription section.

edit: I have possibly found someone. will update if it falls through.

TY. It will most likely be a constant work in progress. Several sections will be updated as needed. I just want to make something where a new worker can get most of their information they need without endless hours of searching like I had to do. =]

In that case, I think you should make your site a little more appealing. The site now looks like a domain error page, to be frank. Don't make the page too dynamic. But a catchy header image and some header tabs will help. Damn, I don't know the exact techie term, it should be like, you know, like the three acc., hit, qual. tabs in Mturk.

Just pointing out some minor flaws. Don't feel bad. It still is an awesome work.

Thanks for the input. I haven't done much to make it easy on the eyes yet. There is so much content that needs to be added first. Once I get that straightened out I will work on the aesthetics. Thank you for the advise though! will keep that put in my little book of to do's.

I am new to this whole experience. I would appreciate the type of information you are suggesting. This is a bit overwhelming, actually.

Well it worked out beautifly. I now have 3 sections for transcription on my site. The person who did this for me did a hell of a job. I am quite happy. Now to get my next project going. Will be designing the hit in the next few days. Many thanks to the great community here on the forum!

Edit: if you read my other post here in the requesters part of the forum it describes the hit I mentioned above. It will be ONLY for mturkforum members. Will be having a qual on it only registered members here can get. =] Hope to put up batches weekly.
