Hi, Once you received the confirmation email from mturk regarding the Dollar conversion rate, you will receive the cheque in 7 to 10 days time. So it is better to contact mturk.
so now i contacted mturk and they have re-issued a cheque but they have written that it can take upto 5 weeks to reach, but on the same mail, they have mentioned me to wait for 9 weeks ... ??? whats that ?
Don't worry Cybercracker, if the cheque is issued you will get the cheque with in 2 weeks. Even if there seems a delay you can send a mail asking about the delay as your friends in India got the cheques within 2 weeks. Good Luck!

Payment issues Hi, Cybercracker, I am facing the same issue and now it's now over 4 months. I did the same as you did I also contacted Mturk and they have re-issued a cheque and they told me the same 5 weeks story but no payment has been received yet. Therefore, I changed my address but now it's over 3 weeks and there is no information again this 5 weeks story which is obviously a new delay. They are not providing any tracking number associated with these post so that we are unable to get the current status of this posted mail. Riazam Bro.. told me that these checks are issued by Citi Bank, Robinson Road, Singapore and posted via Air Mail, therefore I also send an email to Air Mail for enquirers for this on my mailing address but they need ICN number. Which I requested Mturk 100 of times but they are saying that payment checks send overseas are sent through postal mail services and are not traceable. Buddy I think we both are facing the same issue but I don't understand why other Turkers from India are happy with this service why we are not getting our payment checks. I think something is wrong my $600 payment is not delivered yet and now its almost 5 months for me to asking the same thing with Mturk and every time they are making regrets instead of investigating further. I also send an Email to Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon but no actions had been taken in this regard and I think that they are not paying attention as they are treating as a low paid worker and dog. Everything is futile one my friend I tried in every possible way but they are not in a mood to help on this issue. But hope for the best.
actually other indians get their cheques easily as evident by their feedback but some rare cases like u n me are the unfortunate ones :/ lets hope for the best ... :|
