If you click on MedCrowd HITs to expand them, you will see that some HITs require a qualification and others don't. Also, if you've been following the MedCrowd thread (and I can see that you have been posting in it regularly over the past few weeks) you should notice that Mark does post when he is putting up a qualification batch and he posts when he is putting up a batch for qualified workers. The issue of qualified people resetting their qualifications by doing the batches that are intended for qualification has been discussed as well. If you are a conscientious worker, it isn't difficult to figure these things out. I think that putting the onus on the requester in situations like these (where the requester tries very hard to maintain open lines of communication with all workers) is unnecessary.
Yes i do follow thread regular but right away i jump into hit when i saw some hits available, still labelling status of hit(qualification or regular batch) would be the better way to differentiate.
Well, you should have learned a lesson now. Do not jump into these HITs until you spend 2 seconds to look at them. It doesn't take long and they ARE labeled in the full description. If they require the qualification, do them. If they don't, understand that you are risking your own qualification by doing them.
Hey Mark, I will advice you to have a qualification test instead of the qualification HITs, the test will be available anytime, your qualification HITs are very hard to grab due to the difference in the time zones.
Good Morning all, It looks like I missed quite a bit of dialouge. I am going to start responding to emails and messages so bear with me this morning as it may be until the early afternoon before you recieve a response. I apologize Sunny, I do try to maintain the batches when I am at work, however, due to confusion of main batch vs. qual test batch, workers doing more than 10 - 15 HIT's and many workers attempting (yesterday we had nearly 80 - 100 people attempt qualificiation) that it is hard to have them stay up when I am away. I will keep posting batches today. For those of you who Did do 10 - 15 or more, please do not attempt qualification today so that I can review your work (if you reach out to me) and to allow others to attempt it also. Thank you all for your patience during this time. ~ Mark L.
Hey Mark, I got the Medical Information qualification yesterday, and it's value is 70. How would I go about getting that value up so I can do the other HITs that require 80+?
Mark. My score went down to 70 after doing yesterday qual batch, earlier i has 90 score, Please revoke my score. I have PM and email to you. Kindly check. [Edited Post] I got my score back. Thanks Mark.
Hey All, Still processing all of the emails/messages, so if you did not get an answer please continue to be patient. Just on a side note, I have a few meetings today which could potentially prevent me from posting any regular HIT's today. I will continue to post qualification Batches for people who are not qualified yet at the very least, so if you see anything please note that it is a qualification batch unless I post back on here and say otherwise. Thanks all! ~ Mark L.
Hey All, Its the end of the day over here (past the end really). I was taken away from this today due to some high priority internal projects, as a results I was not able to review everyones emailes/messages. For this I apologize and will have to wait until next week for me to continue my review. I will not be posting anything else for the weekend. If you have reached out to me, please be patient as I have not forgotten about you. Many thanks, ~ Mark L.
Morning All! My goal for the next 2 weeks (and more immediately the current week), is to finish going through these qualification reviews and then posting a shit-ton of HIT's. I will be on vacation from the 21st of Dec to the 30th of Dec. I do not think that anyone in my company will be managing HITs while I am away so I want to try to get as much out as I can before I have to leave. Most if not all HITs *should* require Medical Information. Because I will be trying to post a ton of HITs, I may not be posting a lot of qualification batches, if any. If for ANY reason, you do not get a response from me, please email me anytime after 4pm today so that I may review it tomorrow. Otherwise try not to email me today unless its urgent so I can get through these as quickly as possible and start posting HIT's. Most of these HITs will revolve around dentist sites data collection (no URL ID immediately, possibly next week). Thanks all! ~ Mark L.
Hey All, I have a few more emails to answer tomorrow. I will be reviewing and update that is coming to us for our system then I hope to have some HITs up by the end of the day tomorrow if all goes well. The update is something I was told about a few hours ago. Thanks All! ~ Mark L.
Alright Everyone, I've finally made it through emails and research and messages and all that fun stuff. Before I start preparing the next batches of HITs to put on mturk, I want to just double check; Did anyone not get a response to a question they asked be it by email or pm? Please either email me or pm me in the next 30 minutes. If I get nothing, after lunch I will start prepping and plan on at least 1 HIT requiring the Medical Information qual. Thanks! ~ Mark L.
Alright people, I just finished the round 2 Q/A - qualification review. Thats all for that. Now I am going to work to get 1 batch up before I go home today, then more tomorrow. Thanks! ~ Mark L.
Sorry for the delay all. 16,000 HITs coming up. It may end early as there may not be enough money in our account to keep it going to the end at this point, but when the finance guy gets in tomorrow I can fix that. For now, it should be able to get you through a lot. Enjoy! ~ Mark L.
