Hi all , I am a grad student at North Carolina State University and would like to share my survey link on visualization. It takes about 30 minutes and pays $.50 as a base payment and when you finish all tasks and the result file is on the server, pays $1.00 more. Here is the link to the HIT. Like other studies, pls perform only once if you're interested. https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=31H4HIBP9AN8MIKYMN0GU7CH43DH5V We are conducting an academic study about visual appeal of a webpage and grouping items by dragging items in a tree view referring to the webpage. Since the task is about visual appeal, passing the color test is essential. There are five practice tasks, and seven main tasks. The experiment takes about 30 minutes. Prerequisites are described below. 1. In order to run the experiment, you must have at least 800x600 resolution of a monitor. 2. You must distinguish colors. 3. You must be 18 years of age or older. 4. Before the main tasks, you will be asked to enter your age, gender, and occupation. You cannot proceed without providing these information and we guarantee that we refer to it only for research purposes. We pay you $0.50 for completing this study, additional $1.00 once I see the completed result file on the server, and another $0.10 for each correct main task! The total you can earn is, $2.20 if you get them all! It only takes about 30 minutes but have allotted 90 minutes to give enough time. The details again - Title: Group the items Requester: JUHEE BAE Description: Group the items in a tree view refering to the webpage at left. Keywords: group, hierarchy Reward: $0.50 Qualifications Required: Location is US , HIT Approval Rate (%) for all Requesters' HITs greater than or equal to 90 Link: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=31H4HIBP9AN8MIKYMN0GU7CH43DH5V I hope a lot of people join in! Let me know if you have trouble finding the HIT. Thanks, J
The reason I do not pay $1.50 at once this time is because there were participants who did not complete the HIT (result file on server) but wanted to earn $1.50. This time, the base is $.50 (since I understand rejecting a HIT is not good for workers), but when I see the result file completed on the server side, pay additional $1.00. The total is $1.50 for those who complete the HIT.
