I took what was my ratio was now 3110 Submitted to 2860 approved = 91.96% Assuming there are no to few rejects, My numbers would need to be at 5015 Submitted to 4764 approved would = 95%
I figure 20-30 more days left before all the 95%+Approval rating sets in for me for those hits.

That's interesting, thanks. Maths was never my strong point!

I am allergic to math. It makes me break out in brain twitches.

Haha, me too. I married a maths genius so I just ask him now :) English and Music were my thing. Though obviously Imfuna disagrees on the English ;)

    First Imfuna Rejection

Just got my first Imfuna rejection this morning. This is after doing 100+ hits for them with nary a rejection, so I sent them a message asking them to review the HIT I did for them. We'll see if anything comes of it, but it looks like Imfuna is one of the less-communicative requesters.

Amusingly, I later worked a HIT from Imfuna after the rejection where the lady lost her train of thought and muttered an obscenity into her phone. I didn't transcribe it, but I was sorely tempted.;)

My favorite set of HITs from Imfuna was from one lady who lifted her pitch at the end of every sentence. It sounded like she was singing. Da-da da-da-da dee-dee!

LOL That is funny.. I've never run across an obscenity and if I did I'd also be pretty tempted to transcribe it! I enjoy most of them aside from one guy I always seem to get that sounds to me as if he's eating his teeth while he talks. He actually reminds me a lot of Austin Powers!

    Two More Imfuna Rejections.

Just got two more Imfuna rejections this morning. One, I think I might have deserved because I think I transcribed some mumble-mouth saying "cistern" as "system", but the other one, I have no clue. I even switched to using the British dictionary in Firefox in case Imfuna is dinging me for using the American spelling of "color" and "mold" (which they have never done until now).

Since the sum of the feedback I'm getting from them so far is "improper transcription", without telling me where the improper transcription actually is, I'm trying to decide if I should work on any more of Imfuna's HITs. My rating's 98.0% with 1129 HITs, so I can take a few hits without dropping below 95%, but doing what I think is reasonably good work and not getting paid for it cheeses me off.

(The email also includes an apology regarding any HITs that "may have negatively affected you.")

    Check your email ...

Maybe one for each rejection, and one to grow on?

Same here, got the email. They hadn't rejected me, though. The night I did their HITs, it was the Home Inspection audio clips...that I had already heard on SpeechInk.

Hi all, sorry I have been quiet here lately :) I just found these emails from Imfuna and have to say I am delighted as I love working them in SpeechInk where it's pretty hard to get a rejection!

On that note, I just typed one which had the word "part" in it 4 times and EACH TIME I managed to give it a new and different typo! Clever eh? Good job I double check before submitting hehe.
