Hi there, I need workers to complete a short survey for a piece of psychology research. It is a quick questionnaire for a pilot study. The rate of 0.35 is excellent for this quick task! The HIT title is 'Answer an anonymous 5-mins survey' and can be found if you search it bt title on mturk.com. Please read all the instructions carefully and complete it as requested. We appreciate your honest responses on the survey. Cheers, JS428.
didn't qualify based on location Title: Answer an anonymous 5-mins survey Requester: Eugenia McGrath [A37LYSUUMQRHJ5] (TO) Description: Answer an anonymous survey on employee attitudes and other core emotions Reward: $0.35 Qualifications: Location is AU, Location is CA, Location is GB, Location is IE, Location is US Link: undefined Powered by non-amazonian script monkeys
The location qualification on this survey is confusing...looks like it was supposed to be any one of the listed locations not all of the listed locations.
Location is AU US You do not meet this qualification requirement Location is CA US You do not meet this qualification requirement Location is GB US You do not meet this qualification requirement Location is IE US You do not meet this qualification requirement Location is US US You meet this qualification requirement You... require the worker to be from ALL locations. You're not going to get any responses that way!
JS428, just so you know, that yellow background on the survey makes it difficult to read. Thanks for the HIT!
Apparently she fixed it so the locations isn't a qualifier. I did the HIT even though I didn't notice that it was only for workers (I returned it) but there are several problems with this hit. First, it only has a 5 minute timer. You better not have to blow your nose or it will expire! Even though it's only for employed people there is a radio button to check for unemployed. That's why I didn't notice the requirement until I went to submit. It would be a lot better if the qualilfication was in the hit description on Mturk. It would save dummies like me a lot of trouble.
