Hey y'all. Been a turker for a a handful of days now. I haven't been doing it up to par with what I want to hit for goals. My goals are pretty massive. I'd like to make about $150 a week. What I've done so far is pretty shameful, I know. So using that as a baseline, I'm open to suggestions, critiques and methods to use. I don't use scripts right now (I don't understand them), and I don't have masters (obviously). Any help getting to my goal would be appreciated. I don't mind hard work or long hours.
Welcome to the forum! We all started pretty much like that. You'll get better with practice and have more HITs approved. More work will be available to you after you HIT certain milestones like 500, 1000, 1K and so forth. Be careful with rejections at this point because that will harm your stats. Build your numbers is more important than earnings at the beginning. First you need to install Tampermonkey (Chrome) or Greasemonkey (Firefox) extensions in order for the scripts to work. Then the first thing you should install is Turkopticon aka TO, which is feedback for the workers about requesters. It'll tell you if there's rejections/blocks, how long it took or any issues with the requesters. Or you can use a Turkopticon script instead. Both will work just the same. Thanks for the boost. I'm trying hard. I have to balance between making money now, and getting my numbers up due to a need for cash. But I'm also doing batch hits to get numbers up, too, such as the ones that you determine building type by address. I just picked up Tampermonkey and I've been using some other scripts today as well. I havn't noticed any big changes but I do like the notifications letting me know when new HITs become available. I also just installed Turkopticon which is interesting as well. I'm almost always refreshing the Great Hits thread, too! I always seem to hit them just a bit late though. I'm working on that.
