I'm waiting on that one and $11 from over a month ago! Plus a few others far less important though still would be nice. The two studies I did today with bonuses have already paid them out. Those people deserve praise!

I think a good part of my lack of motivation lately is how slow everything is taking to pay out. I have over $100 in pending earnings at the moment and a ton of bonuses that haven't come through yet.
I noticed the same thing. I wonder what is up. I have over 600 HITs pending and they aren't penny batches.
Was that the requester HINL or someone else? I remember a promised bonus of over $10 from one study last month. I'm convinced I'll never see it.
The requester was Michelle Meyer. I got a $3 bonus right away and was promised $11 in two weeks. It'll be 5 weeks on Friday.
I did that one on February 20th. That's probably the bonus over $10 I am thinking of as well. I used to keep track of these things, but any large bonus promised, I don't expect it to pay off. I'm pleasantly surprised when it does. Hopefully a large number of people contact her asking where is the bonus?
I don't tend to keep track of my bonuses either because of this very thing, but some of them are substantial and sometimes I do an underpaid hit because of the attached bonus. Not for happy making for sure!
I think it's because requesters have figured out workers can't tell anymore...which if they realized how savy some of these script writers are, they are gonna start having approval time as part of the review and we'll get a track record on them. It's just a matter of time before we figure out how to deal with it.
You've given me an idea @melunsch I'm gonna come up with a form letter and start sending it to requesters who go over (help me out, what do you all think is reasonable?) 5 days? Maybe 7? and ask them when they plan to approve their hits. This is silly. There is no reason these have to sit so long without approval.
Not sure if that'll help because according to Mturk, they have up to 30 days to approve it manually (or whenever they have it set for) otherwise it'll approve automatically after 30 days.
In 2013, I kept track of bonuses promised vs. bonuses paid out, for a period of several months. If I recall correctly it was ~73% of the bonuses paid out. I was surprised it was this high. Agree, it's not worth keeping track these days. I am only wondering if that has gone up or down since then. We could always ask Flora. I think I recall her saying that she keeps track of everything in a large excel sheet.
