Best came up with is adding some custom filters to adblock plus, which takes care of most of them. gif$image,domain=mturkforum.com jpg$image,domain=mturkforum.com jpeg$image,domain=mturkforum.com png$image,domain=mturkforum.com It's very problematic though because this takes out the emotes which makes many posts unintelligible. Also some real images sneak through anyhow. I'm no expert in this though, maybe there is a better way.

Also the main reason for "write about a time" is to alter your mood to see how it affects the way people answer questions. There's usually a control group where a person is asked to write about something ordinary or mundane and then another group that's supposed to write about something that's either very negative or very positive. This is not anything that hasn't been listed in a million MTurk survey debriefings. Don't you read those?
These were fussy, for me too. I started in Chrome, and that did not show the link. I then tried Android's "Browser" and was able to see the link there, and my phone took screen snaps easily (had to dig around with Gallery for a bit to get the rhythm of transfer, directory, etc). The WEBSITE ones worked with Android Browser, and Gallery to work with the screen snaps. My phone has no room to add apps right now (I need to research some of the cheap phones some Mturkers say they use as passive work horses, to tally swagbucks, etc, for backup), so all the APPS hits that are sitting out there, I envy... *sob* May you find your link!
