Crowdsource finally kills the "be" thing

Hi there:

Here at CrowdSource, we rely on our qualified workforce to produce the best work. This goes double for our editors, who are our most trusted and most reliable group of workers we have. As an editor, we know that you have more knowledge of our style guide and our grammar preferences than the majority of our writers. While we appreciate you following our preferences to a tee, we recognize that a change must be made. The prior use of “be” – the most banned word in all of CrowdSource writing – leads me to our big announcement.

Beginning Friday, May 25th, all forms of “be” are acceptable in CrowdSource writing HITs. These terms have been banned and edited out of writing from the beginning of CrowdSource, and we believe that lifting this ban should not have an effect on writing quality.

We understand that this can be quite the adjustment for you as an editor. It is going to be an adjustment for us as well. We here at CrowdSource have complete faith in your editing skills and your ability to maintain the highest-quality work.

Just in case you thought you were dreaming, here it is again. All forms of “be” are acceptable in CrowdSource writing HITs.
