It seems like I keep messing up Content Grading HITs. Is anyone else frequently getting the message "As an extra measure of quality control, we will be sending these articles to be graded an additional time. We will be sure to pass along any necessary feedback." or am I just really terrible at this? At first, I thought I was giving too many 0 star ratings, but now I'm afraid I'm rating them too high. How do you do these HITs?
I feel like when the first truly excellent article came through for me on these HITs, it all kind of clicked, and then I knew what I was looking for. Before that, it did really seem like a judgement call. I tend to hand out lots of 1, 2 ratings. Its probably 1 in 20 HITs that get a 0 on a given section and closer to 1 in 100 that get a 3. And if I feel torn between two ratings, I rate down. So far, they haven't gotten after me about it. When I first started doing them though (first few weeks), I would occasionally get the same message as you. I think that is just their way of letting you know that they are sending some stuff back for review, because maybe your rating didn't jive exactly with someone else's. I guess if anything, I would grade hard.
