No, I choose not to work a traditional job. My wife has a ridiculously high paying job and I can be there for the kids and it's really hard to have two working parents these days without support and we have no family nearby. I have an Accounting Bachelor's. First job after graduation, which took me two+ years to even get, paid me $30,000. Turking is pretty amazing supplemental income at that salary lol. So ya, depending on where you live, the job market absolutely blows for degrees like Accounting because it is one of those advertised degrees that school counselors, every college magazine and book, etc. told kids to go into because there are tons of well paying jobs. Turns out, not really, and frankly in 20 years or less all the jobs will be done by computer software.
