In my family the Internet is normal. So that's not a problem. My SIL works at Google. How about: "I work online. Now please stop asking me questions. I'm no Edward Snowdon."
OK. "I work online helping graduate students who need to use the internet to do their research. It involves statistics."
So these have decent TO, but I did these a looooong time ago when I first started, there were three batches up like the ones that are up now. I'm not entirely sure if you can do more than one after you've done the ones from that previous time. I emailed the requester so I'll let you know if anything comes up about it, if you haven't done them yet though, they are very ez. Title: Calidad del texto español A (solo para hablantes nativos de español - native Spanish speakers only) Requester: UniMelb NLP Group [A2WEBYM0PMUCYK] (TO) Description: Califica la calidad de partes del texto español Reward: $0.50 Qualifications: HIT approval rate (%) is not less than 95 Link: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=2J2GSCWY2AOODT2P4CFOMQSIVCJ11R Powered by non-amazonian script monkeys
I've tried. Usually it boils down to... "remember all those experiments we had to do in college for course credit? Now I get paid."
Yeah, dude, sorry about the delayed response (I had to go eat dinner) but watch your ass doing Classify Adimages stuff. At a bare minimum, all those 'warnings' will turn into rejections after you do x amount of HITs for them. Next batch or the one after that, those 5 warnings you've gotten will be 5 rejections instead. They also have no problem at all rejecting, say, 50 of your submissions in a row if you run afoul of their majority rules system, and they won't respond to email or reverse sweet shit. The pay isn't bad and I can see the appeal. And I guess it's possible they changed their way of doing things, but their TO sucks for a reason, and that reason is that a lot of people started doing their stuff thinking, hey, this requester is ok, and suddenly found out they're far from ok.
