Check your HITs from the 18th... woke up to a rejection on a HIT I did entitled "Quick survey about Telework" by "Shawn" and all it says is "direct queries to ddinkhoffman@gmail.com" for a reason.

    Email sent and TO abused.

    Any musical types?

    https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=2ZSQUQIHPCGJ2DGKS2N52H1QVWX063
Write lyrics and perform song, minimum of 5 versus not including the chorus, which is optional. The song is about a women named Martina who deeply loves a man who she also enjoys physically torturing. Provide an MP3 performance of the song accompanied by guitar piano or other musical instrumentation. Music/accompaniment need not be original and may be set to any tune but preferably a ballad. Language must be in English and a typed copy of the lyrics must be provided.

    Pays $5

Anyone do the Sarah Shonka facial expressions tasks? If we did multiple ones and recognized faces from other HITs, do we hit yes? I messaged her but have yet to receive a response.

From an email I received just after 3 am EST--

New HIT Available Now!!! Easy, Quick and Interesting: Medical Text Classification

    Message from HCTEST (andyyinming@gmail.com)
    ---------------------------------
    Hi,

Thank you very much for taking our previous HITs.
We have new HITs available online now. This is an interesting medical text classification task in which you are asked to read a short paragraph extracted from the medical literature as well as a medical question, and you need to highlight sentences in the paragraph which you think are related to the question and classify the attitude of them as arguing for/against the question or uncertain. Sounds fun? Then just have a try: Search 'medical text classification' on Mechanical Turk or simply check it out here: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=2KYZBAT2D5NQ4XSFO7RJO5T2SSD26R.
BTW, you can highlight as many sentences as you want in this task, and you can complete as many HITs as you want too!.
    Thank you again!

My first thought was, where is the unsubscribe link? For those who don't know, HCTEST specializes in miserable, sadistic HITs that pay next to nothing. They actually do in fact seem to be studying frustration, and how to induce it. No sarcasm here--I think that is the nature of their research.

On the other hand, I see 20 HITs, and we can do as many as we want. And I need 20 HITs for my numbers. Has anyone played with these yet? I hate to accept a HIT that I can't preview beforehand, and HCTEST is famous for incomprehensible instructions and comprehension quizzes that require to return the HIT just as often as not. I've already searched through yesterday and today, and I seem to be the only person who has written about this...

Thanks to anyone who can help. Oh, and here's the rest of the info...
