are the transcripts hard to learn? like never having done a transcript do you think I could pick one up learn it properly and manage to do it throughout the day like you said?
if you're new to transcriptions, I would suggest doing claritrans and crowdsurf until you get the hang of them before you go on to big hits like that
One that I had was some NJ Italian sounding guy..like those Jersey Shore douchebags. Doing verbatim for him was a pain in the butt
It's a bit tough in the starting phase. It was for me cuz of the difference in accent a bit but once you get the hang of it, there is some good money in transcriptions. Start with claritrans, crowdsurf and redwood. They have short transcriptions and can help you get a hang of it. Also download the sound file on your computer so you can play it 2x/3x slower on vlc player.

What Zingy said. Try out the easier ones that are lower pay first. They're less likely to reject. You'll get the hang of it after doing a few. You definitely want something like Express Scribe because some ask for timestamps and such and it's much easier to do the hotkey while listening than to type it out manually. There are different types of transcriptions, differing clarities, and different formats that they want. I prefer non-verbatim because you can skip all the unnecessary stumbling, but I will gladly do a high paying verbatim transcription. Edit: Also, slow down the audio to 45-50%. It keeps you from having to rewind and it goes more smoothly
