In discussions with others, I've noticed that once it goes below their cutoff, it doesn't go back up regardless of what someone has pending. It's as if they quit comparing what you've done once it reaches that point. There could have been an instance where it has gone back up, but I must have missed the discussion.
that's weird. I'm mining ltc with my ati 5850, intensity 13, and i'm getting a solid 255 Kh/s. More if i bump up the intensity, but then other things start slowing down.
It's gone back up for me, twice. I was below the cutoff a couple of times. Within a day it came back up, and I'm pretty sure it was while some pending hits were approving.

Unless the server messes up, not really. My jalapeno only ****s up every 6 hours when I'm using my PC at the same time. When left idle it runs 24/7
