Logging on in between classes here. Anyone have anything interesting at all while I wait for those Acmes to approve?
Glad you liked them! He's one of the requesters I made the most off from when I first started. Super simple and decent pay.
Some SLS-1, which I find to be pretty good for how long they take https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=2ZSQUQIHPCGJIZU30XN53H0OWQX06Q
Amazon usually doesn't get involved at all in disputes workers have with requesters... it's the one major flaw with MTurk; we're pretty much at the mercy of the requester as far as approvals and rejections go. You can, however, contact the requester, explain why you think the rejection is unfair and see what they had to say. I had a rejection similar to yours (the requester said I completed it too fast) by contacting him, giving a summary of the survey to show I had read it and politely asking him to reconsider.
Title: Short survey: listen to music Requester: Amit Bhattacharjee [A2PYSN7JHNRKMR] (TO) Description: Short survey: listen to music and rate your personal taste Reward: $0.25 Qualifications: HIT approval rate (%) is not less than 95, Location is US Link: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=2L72OHOVR14IK7TN9DTHKCWFE0B659 Powered by non-amazonian script monkeys 4mins
Thanks for the info. While the requester has been quick to respond to emails, they are unwilling to adjust their decision. I passed their quality control questions, but they don't feel the time was sufficient. I'm updated TO to reflect my experience with them.
If you search yesterday's thread, there were a couple of people posting they got rejections from ResearcherX. And no, if the requester is not willing to work with you, you are basically screwed. Amazon won't do anything.
Fun Research Study Requester: Zachary Arens Time Allotted: 60 minutes Reward: $0.41 Description: Evaluate entertaining online activities Qualifications Required: Location is US This is a fun study, but it took me 20 minutes. I'm sure the rest of you can shave off between 5 and 10 minutes, and for about half the study, you can multitask without penalty.
I remember that study stated clearly in the introduction that any submissions that took less than ten minutes would automatically be rejected. Sometimes you really so have to read the fine print closely...
Give your opinion about a lottery Hanah Chapman .5 https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchb...ds=Hanah+Chapman&minReward=0.00&x=-1413&y=-89 Took 3 min.
I need at least 3 hits today in the fastest way possible (completed and doesn't mean it has to approve right away). Any recommendations?
