Will update time... Aww it told me I already took it! Returned...
I already did enough of them to get hit a throttling suspension from registering Twitter accounts... Here's hoping I don't incur any penalties from mTurk hwell: Edit: They also kinda helped me hit my daily goal already so... *fingers crossed*
You guys should really steer clear of any requester that asks you to do something questionable like creating twitter accounts. Not only does it violate twitter TOS, but more than likely Amazon TOS as well. If someone were to report that requester, they would cancel that requester's account and all your work would be rejected and possibly your account suspended for violating TOS for doing the work. Just a warning.

How bad is it that I accepted the hit, saw "Write a short survey about yourself" and then NOPED right out and returned immediately? It may be from all my Java programming homework but writing while turking hurts my brain now.
Anyone still doing the Server Administrator HITS? I received a reply this morning. We only reject where we get n/a n/a n/a n/a, garbage/spam, or where the data has been put into the wrong boxes, or where the data is for a completely wrong school. With 50,000 HITs to process, please bear with us as we get the acceptance/rejection process up and running. We will accept: 1. Today, based on our own version of majority rules 2. Tomorrow/Friday, once we have all HITs completed, based on our manual analysis because we already have a partial database of this information to use to verify quality. 3. All remaining HITs will be auto-accepted after 3 days. Thanks Emile
I can't seem to get into a groove with anything this morning. Yesterday I had $7 in my first hour, today I only have $1.50 And I seriously have NO porn tagging skills. I think too much about things like "What if I am not really capturing the best anal this scene has to offer?"

Can't blame you. When I first started doing surveys. I avoided the writing ones BIG time like the plague and returned alot of them! Just because I didn't have the confidence that I could do it well enough. Then there was one survey for good money that I forced myself to try one. After that one got approved, I became more confident in doing little writing ones. It isn't bad once you get the hang of it. But that's only if you feel like it. lol.
For me it's not about confidence, some surveys ask for detailed writing and I feel they should pay more. I also do a lot of writing in my career and don't want to be nabbed for plagiarism because I used an idea or line on mturk in one of my papers.

I don't understand why they would reject for all n/a. Some of these schools just do not have any web presence. And in the event that there is no official website or email address, if you go to one of those listing sites to see who the headteacher is, half the time it's wrong. I know this because I got curious to see how accurate they were when I actually did find schools with an official website and information. Half the time, the listed headteacher was wrong! So why should people get a rejection for not listing the headteacher if there is no official website/email with guaranteed correct information?
New here, hi! I emailed a couple of questions about these hits last night, here is the response I received. "1. If no school website, put N/A for the website and use Google to find the head teacher info and email address from another source. 2. If the school website really only has a contact form then put the contact form URL in the email address box. However, some websites will list the email address on the front page or another page. 3. If you have both Headteacher and Executive Headteacher, then Executive Headteacher is the most senior. 'Principal' should be read like 'Headteacher'."
Easy one, choose a box and give a reason. Title: Which was better: Diehard 2 or Diehard 3? I think I'm just going to stop doing these because I emailed him yesterday and got contradictory information. I asked him about form emails and he said if it was a form email, and there was no email other than that on the site, to put N/A. He said absolutely nothing about putting the url of the form in there. Now I'm paranoid as hell about rejections.
