I think that's a good idea, since Sasquatch mentioned it earlier...I have no idea how to do it either. I never know if I've done the survey or not unless I can see it and I remember it.
as long as you're confident in basic grammar and you have spell check, i say go for it. most of these writing hits specifically request or allow rewrites of existing articles, so as long as you can write correct sentences, have decent structure, stay on topic, and never, ever, ever use the exact same wording as the article you're rewriting, you should really be fine. beyond that it's just a matter of being comfortable with a topic, and requesters like david matchett often put up 'common knowledge' or easily accessible types of articles to do which require little to no outside research/info.

I actually emailed him just a bit ago to see if he planned on putting another batch up soon. I'll report back if I hear anything.
This: http://mturkforum.com/showthread.php?4239-MTurk-HIT-DataBase-(replaces-MTurk-Extended-HIT-Search) will do it for you. It really is an amazing script. You just have to install Greasemonkey on Firefox or Tampermonkey if you're using Chrome, then install that and click "Update Database."
there's a script for this too, i've just never used it. i kinda like the system i have. all i did was create a spreadsheet with Date, Requester, Title, Pay, Status, and Comment columns. i turn off turkopticon when i'm ready to copy and paste my hits because otherwise the TO arrow gets pasted in and messes up the formatting. then i use ctrl and the minus/dash key to reduce the size of each screen, just my preference, highlight everything from the first requester's name to the last hit's status (or comment, if there is any), copy, and paste into the spreadsheet with the cursor on the first blank cell in the Requester field. when i'm done, i just fill in the date for the hits (just enter it in the first cell for that day, then highlight all the cells under it for that day and hit ctrl+d to fill in the same value). sounds like a lot of work but it's actually not. and i skip batch hits because they would just take a ton of extra time to paste in, and for no good reason since they never require that you haven't done them before.
I still have all this good turking energy and no hits to use it on. As soon as it runs out the really good hits will come available and tease me.
Yeah I get that. Its really good to start out with the re-write tasks. I've had really good luck with Tyler Quick. Then go from there! It isn't very busy today I like to work on these when they are available, and it seems he fixed whatever the issue was with the submit button - https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchb...s+Coupon+Description+ &minReward=0.00&x=0&y=0 Rewrite This Coupon Description Requester: Mike C Reward: $0.30 per HIT Also, the pay can be good for Todd Dickerson depending on how fast you can get his hits done. I like to do just the sentence re-writes for him when its slow....
