Can't find good HITs? 10/17

Good Afternoon everyone! Late start for me today, I gotta get busy!!!

For these HITs, I tried to do a few and could not find the email for the person on any of them...Is this common?

 

I was able to find the email in around half of the cases. Just return the others.

 

There must be either a learning curve to these, or something I'm just not getting... can't find the emails.

I spoke too soon. These looked like email ones that I once did where the email was RIGHT there to copy and paste. With these, you have to dig a lot more. Not liking these too much

 

google search the persons name and the website. That should give you a listing with an email if it is on that site.

for instance,

ellen harvey ccps.k12.fl.us


This showed up, first result listed her email.

Move on to next Hit.

Now, isn't it sad that I don't qualify for these?

 

yes, either that or it makes you fill out a form to submit.. so in those cases you put N/A

 

CRAP. Same newbie here. I went to hits I completed today, and it's not even there. All in all, I guess it's ok, cause at least I didn't get rejected. BUT, if anyone else can send me her email address, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

you dont have to find every single e-mail.. there is an option to put N/A if it is not there

 

debsstuff, sorry about that. I confused these hits with ones I did where the email was right there and it was easy cut and paste. This one you have to dig a lot more. Sorry about that

 

OK here is my suggestion as frogman talked about above. I copy and paste the person's name into google. Then I type "email" next to their name. Then I type one key word from the school they represent (example, if they are from "Escambia elementary school district, just type "escambia".

So your search should look like "person's name" "email" "escambia" .... 3 times the email appeared first page. Did all three in about 1 minute or so.

If it doesn't show up after three pages, I put "N/A"

Not too bad.

What's the TO on this requester?

 

This would work, but they want the email from the site that they list. If you get it from elsewhere, you may be risking a rejection.

That was why I suggested searching for the website they provide.

I think I am the only one who has left a TO on this requester.. very first batch I did was fine

 

Wow, I'm going to stop then. I've done 19 in this fashion. $1.90 if it works out.

But most of the emails i found had the @.edu at the end of the email. Which is what I hope they would want. Not a personal email like yahoo.

Oh well.
