Thanks for the kind words. It was all natural. I started by walking every night. Then changed my diet. Then started p90x and then got a gym membership and just go nuts at the gym every night, it's such a stress relief. Let me tell you though it's a lot easier to put on 125 than it is to take it off!! Thanks again for the kind words.

 

Keep reading this thread, you'll see that I don't know. I've done 2, trying to pump myself up to do all 8.

It won't let you log back into one that you've already done. You have to look at the number at the end of the URL to know which one to do. Just skip past ones you've already done.

I have been trying to lose weight myself, in a year and a half I have lost 75 lbs by walking. I have hit a wall and haven't lost any for 3 months. I just bought a gym membership. I am hoping this helps me to lose some more. Congratulations!

 

So tempted to do all 8 but no TO means new requester so I'd hate for him to have made a mistake on his request and make us pay for his error. 7 rejections at once would be extremely painful.

 

I stopped at 4, I'll just kick myself later one way or the other.

Great requester and fun HIT. Take a break from the norm and race some horses.

 

I keep seeing the high-value transcriptions and getting too tempted. After finishing the first one (nearly two hours of audio) the other day, I wanted to shoot myself in the head. But tonight I saw another one for $30 and decided to do it. I prepped myself up with lots of coffee and by the time I was ready, it was gone. I took another one instead, but the one I took only paid $15 and change. It was for just over an hour of audio. Halfway through I threw my hands up and quit. Too much time, too little money, too many names and locations I have to verify spelling of, too many moments of completely undecipherable audio. From now on, no transcriptions for me over five minutes. And probably none at all, because those short ones don't pay for shit.

I know everyone here has probably already learned this lesson (and I was advised as such when I posted earlier about doing a long transcription), but I figure its worth mentioning. Fuck transcriptions. I could have made over $15 in bullshit surveys and batch hits in half the time I spent doing half the job.

Of course, now I've spent the last three hours working my ass off with nothing to show for it. Learning experience, I guess.

 

They told me I was seeing the responses the previous turker gave, and showed him betting on horses for bonuses of .50 or $1.00. I never got to bid on any horses. I hope the survey was either lying about the previous turker's activities, or the bonuses were imaginary, because if I just missed out on like five $1.00 bonuses because I was an odd-numbered turker I'm going to be pissed.

 

I just returned the $10 Welton Chang HIT. Good luck whoever gets it.

 

Someone already did, apparently. What did the hit entail, and why did you return it? $10 is either a great deal or a really tedius job.
