I looked at the TO for Steve Murch recipes hits and seen the TO was iffy and some said the scanned recipes were sometimes unreadable. A search here on this forum turned up nothing specific, so I wonder if anybody with experience with Murch can give info about this requester.
I don't specifically remember the TO but I know I read it at some point. I vaguely remember getting an impression that people posting negatively there did not sound like they had done good work. Murch seemed just fine to me. Here's why: If the recipe isn't readable, you can always just return the HIT. Other Turkers grade your recipe-typing work, but if they don't like it, Murch sends you a link where you can fix it, rather than rejecting outright. Then he approves it and pays, provided you fixed it. I haven't done any in a couple of months, but I was never rejected by him. He isn't lightning fast to pay, though; it usually takes at least a few days, sometimes more.
In the late winter and early spring Steve usually uploads a lot of work. I have never gotten a rejection but I do take my time and sure it's the quality he wants before I submit it.
He is very specific in what he wants done. You have to follow his directions to the letter. If I was an employer like him I would expect the same. Do good thorough work for him and contact him with any questions and you will be fine.
