I am very new to mTurk and when I went to go set up my amazon payments account, my information was at first accepted and then, my account was suspended. I have already called and they have emailed a specialist but, is there any way to get this problem resolved? Has anyone ever had their accounts suspended within three minutes of sending the information? Has anyone ever had this issue resolved? I have not even had the chance to use mTurk yet, and this is kind of my last alternative.

I have had this problem before. Have you filed taxes in the US before?

I have filed taxes here. However, I have just received a response saying that they may no longer respond to my correspondence. I have it in my right mind to just send them an angry letter and kick some serious "account specialist" balls.

Are you positive your name and address exactly matches up to the info they would get by checking your social security number? I had the same problem back when I first started and it was because I had recently married so signed up with my married name but hadn't changed that info on my ss card yet.

I am not sure, I registered with information that is recent. I think I need to apply with my permanent address. However, amazon payments says that now they may not respond to my correspondence. Is is possible to open a new account with the correct information?
